Foodporn redux, the Challah edition


So, it was my first time making Challah bread. (And honestly, it's just the second type of bread I've made. (Pizza dough being the other bread from scratch.)

So, here it is:



As you can see, I missed a spot with the egg wash. (look at the bottom right corner.)

What you can't see is the slippage of the upper braid. I didn't get the braids quite right, and at the far end, the top has slipped off of the lower braid.

But, you know what? I don't care. This looks tasty. :-D
