Very topical.

Ben Folds concert last night. Great concert. Ben Kweller opened and he was a lot of fun too. Note to self: People who are 6'4" are too damn tall. Rufus Wainwright was supposed to open the concert, but apparently came down with bronchitis and is in the hospital.

Sadly, I have no way of knowing that he was in the hospital. The announcement is apparently on his website, but his website automatically rejects my web browser. Why? Is he so good that he doesn't have to conform to web standards?

According to Bugzilla, there are roughly 828 websites in the US alone that don't conform to web standards or auto-reject websites that use alternate browsers. This is bad because more often than not, screen readers (web browsers for the blind) will also be unable to use the website.
