Well, I hope you all had a happy Turkey Day. Some of you, I'm sure will be having a few more turkey days because of leftovers.
Turkey day in Ohio was great, got to see bunches of my nieces and nephews who I haven't seen in ages. They're years younger than me, but they're already outgrowing me. And in need of a shave too. The ride down and the ride back was uneventful, except for a little snow near Fredonia, and one stupid idiot driving 40 on the thruway near the Ripley line.
Not much ground breaking stuff going on now, it's one in the morning and I know little of what's going on here in town, and am still too tired to do anything. I'm probably headed back to Rochester tomorrow to try and put things in order.
Job search is not going too well. Contacts are jsut as drya s they have been, and I'm just having a bear of a time trying to make new ones. Got 2 more rejections this week on positions that I was looking for, so cross off working for RIT and going to work for a company in Pittsburgh off my list. This leaves my alternatives to "land miracle job in Rochester", which is still a possibility, or the company on Long Island. Other than that though, it's been pretty much a big 'ol zero. Now I know what Spaz was feeling last year.
Things have got to get better. I know they will, but I don't know when that will be. I can't let myself get discouraged, but things look bleak right now. Cheers, hugs, and job leads are always greatly apprecieated.
