Saturday night, I saw Blast. That was a great show. Before the show, I managed to run into one of my first professors in college, Phil White, who was my CS I lab professor. He didn't really recognize me, but he remembered when I was a student because he got a delivery of Ultima Online while he was in the middle of class.
Today, I ran into my last professor, Kim Kotel. She taught my ASL I class. She was a really cool person, and I really enjoyed her presentation. She was pretty excited when I told her that I was going to Rome to take a job. She pointed out that the New York State School for the Deaf is there. I knew that, it's just down the road. :-)
Also, since it was my last Sunday here in Rochacha, I figured that today would be a good day to head to California Rollin' for some sushi. Good idea! I hopped out on my bike and rode up there. Then I got another great idea. Ride over to Record Archive on East Ave!
I didn't really realize how far that was down East Ave. All told, I think I rode about 15 miles. Boy are my legs ever saying "You suck!" right now.
Well, time to get working on the packing again. Move date is Thursday.
