Trivia Time...

In what year was the hottest temperature on August 14th recorded in Rochester?

(Okay, grammar sticklers, sort that one out)

Answer: 2002.

Today, we reached 97 degrees, shattering the old record of 95.

Needless to say, I am quite hot. I celebrated the occasion by not cooking in my apartment and going out to get a sub for dinner. By pure luck, I also ran into one of my music friends... Ralph. (Why do I always think of The Animaniacs or Tiny Toons "Ralph, who's ralph?" line when I say his name?)

Ralph told me that the entity formerly known as 12 Corners Coffeehouse (Now known as Big Tree Music, or somesuch) and RIT have come to an agreement, and we have a home for the concert series! \/\/00t. 3 acts have been booked already, one of them being the Nields. 3 down, about 18 more acts to go. :-D
