Yum. :-)
I loved the sushi there, and it was beutifully presented in these long boats. Very cute.
After the sushi was consumed, I went back across the street to Caffe Lena and watched We're About 9 play. It was supposed to originally be a We're About 9/Girlyman show, but Girlyman had some bigger and better things to deal with (like, opening for The Indigo Girls) (Which still pisses me off because I still think We're About 9 sounds better live than Girlyman does. Sorry, Nate, you just don't sound in tune.)
Caffe Lena is an amazing venue. Ktie, Brian and Pat were all in top form, and Pat was even playing an electric guitar. The mix on the electric guitar was off just a little loud during the first set, but they got that fixed during the second set. I can't wait to see them again.
And if some of you could do WA9 a favor, stop by the FolkTown page and put in a request for a WA9 song, mmmkay?
In other good news from last night, RIT 6, Hobart 1. Aww yeah, baby.
